Position Summary
The Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, Department of Allied Health Sciences, UNC School of Medicine, invites applications for a fixed term appointment at the rank of Clinical Instructor. This faculty appointee will provide audiology services at the UNC Hearing and Communication Center. The position is available at an FTE of 0.75 up to 1.0, dependent on candidates' qualifications.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Eligible candidates include individuals who have received their doctoral degree in relevant area of study or will be able to obtain their doctoral degree in relevant area of study by the start date of this position.
- Experience with hearing aid selection/fitting for adult populations .
- Eligible for NC Audiology Licensure
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
- Experience as a clinical preceptor with AuD students and classroom teaching;
- Experience with vestibular assessment
