For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $2,500 sign-on for Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians!

o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full-time AEMT position. Bonus amount prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.

o Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth member employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient's injury or illness in accordance with State and local protocols.

Please Note: this position will consist of variable shifts to include days, evenings and nights

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Completion of EMT-Advanced course required.

2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) EMT-Advanced license required. Valid driver's license required. Current BLS certification required.

3. Experience: N/A
