Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions in English.

  • Responsible to maintain and keep-up all departmental equipment, including monthly probe calibration.

  • Prepares hazardous materials for pick-up.

  • Member of TTM-Logan spill response team and may be required to respond to chemical spills.

  • Assists other technicians with waste water processing when necessary.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Outlook.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Employees are required to certify to several TPCG-Logan processes (listed at the end of this document) within 90 days after their hire or transfer date.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to use basic tools and perform "glue-joint" plumbing. Ability to rebuild pneumatic pumps. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting steps of equipment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, perform repetitive motion, and climb stairs. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use both hands to touch or feel items, talk or hear, and taste or smell.

This position is considered a heavy-duty position, meaning that the individual employee may be regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. In addition, the employee may be required to lift and/or move over 50 pounds with assistance. The employee will be required to carry up to 50 pounds, a distance of 30 feet. The employee will also be required to push/pull up to 100 pounds, a distance of 25 feet.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, ability to focus, distance vision, and depth perception, so that colorimeter testing may be performed.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to vibration, risk of electric shock, extreme heat (non-weather), and high, precarious places. The employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. As such, hearing protection is required when working in areas where hearing protection is necessary.

In addition, this position requires the ability to use a respirator when cleaning certain materials for up to 30 minutes at a time.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
