Ecolab is seeking a highly capable Principal Chemist with expertise in chromatography to join our Global Analytical and Microbiological Services team. The successful candidate will utilize advanced analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, IC) to provide solutions and support to Ecolab's product development, regulatory, technical service, and manufacturing teams globally.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with research scientists and business partners on development of new products and solutions for our customers.

  • Develop new methods or apply existing methods to solve problems to benefit our internal and external customers.

  • Provide analytical testing support focusing primarily on chromatography techniques including GC, GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS, and Ion Chromatography (IC).

  • Interpret experimental data and communicate results to peers, customers, and project teams in written reports and oral presentations.

  • Embrace Ecolab's safety culture

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline with Analytical experience or

  • Masters degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 3 years Analytical experience or

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 5 years Analytical experience

  • Immigration Sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with standard chromatographic techniques and method development (GC, GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS, IC)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $83,600.00 - $125,400.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
