PositionHighlights:

*Position:Radiologic Technologist II

*Location:Skokie Hospital- Ortho

*Full Time/Part Time:Full time

*Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM- 7 PM

  • On Call: Every 6th Saturday

*Required Travel:N/A

What you will need:

*License:IEMA licensing required

*Education:Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program

*Certification:CPRcertification required. ARRT registry eligible required.

*Experience:Previous radiology experience required.

*Skills:Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

What you will do:

  • Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
  • Perform radiographic exams
  • Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
  • Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
  • Consistently works independently and operates all equipment with minimal assistance to performance procedures
  • Check supplies/stocks room and maintains general cleanliness in department
  • Assists in printing films and retrieval of reports
  • May be required to work at other NorthShore off-site facilities to accommodate internal/external customers past schedules hours
  • Reports environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel
