Description
The Director of Learning and Development will develop and oversee the strategy for learning and organizational development functions in collaboration with the Vice President of Human Resources. Will develop, plan, implement, direct, and evaluate activities, resources, programs and services for learning and organizational development. Will be responsible for the overall direction and operational success in accordance with national standards and Children's National policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field (Required) Master's Degree Human Resources, Organizational Development or MBA (Preferred) Minimum Work Experience 10 years Progressive HR Training and Organizational Development related experience (Required) 4 years Supervisory/management experience in related job function. (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Thorough and broad knowledge of learning and talent development planning, practices and techniques. Proven skills in organizational assessment and planning. Strong business acumen as an HR leader. Familiarity with HR policies, procedures and practices. Proven ability to develop and effectively establish and manage programs, projects and initiatives within a large, complex organization. Strong project management, delegation and prioritization skills. Strong interpersonal skills as exhibited by the ability to influence others and build collaborative relationships both within HR and across the organization with individuals at all levels, as well as outside vendors.
