Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Job Description:

Performs tasks as part of the Development of a private cloud and microservices containerization development. The Cloud Engineer will be expected to participate in all phases of the Software lifecycle to include: Design, Development, Integration and Test.

Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Required Skills:

* Development, integration, troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.

* Experience in software development, integration, troubleshooting using C or C++ or Java or Python.

* Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.

* Experience with Kubernetes, or K3s, Podman, or other containerization or orchestration technologies.

* Software integration and troubleshooting experience.

Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Desired Skills:

* Basic understanding of Agile Full software life-cycle development.

* Desire to integrate, test and troubleshoot and refactor software systems.

* Docker Registry a plus.

* Kubernetes Plugins like ISTIO, MetalLB, mutlus, flannel, haproxy, helm a plus.

Cloud Engineer - DevOps, Cloud Computing, Cluster Computing Additional Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent STEM field and at least 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.

* Effective oral and written communication skills.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance and must have at least an interim clearance to start.
