Hyperbaric Oxygen Tech

Full-Time 7:30a - 4pm

The Hyperbaric Oxygen Tech is responsible for age-appropriate patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

• Assists in gathering initial assessment data (excluding admission physical assessment).

• Contributes to re-assessments.

• Evaluates patients progress toward established goals, communicating with RN as needed. Includes patients, families and significant other in data collection.

• Performs treatments and administers medications per policies and procedures and within scope of LPN practice.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program leading to licensure.

• Current unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of hire.

• Completion of an Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society (U.H.M.S) approved 40-hour training course required within 6 months of hire.

• Certified Hyperbaric Tech certification required within 24 months of hire.
