Location:Lee Health Corporate Center -4211 Metro ParkwayFort Myers FL 33916 Department: Community Affairs Work Type: Full Time ; Exempt Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 5:00:00 PM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.78 - $29.62 / hour Summary The Community Health Specialist is responsible for implementing, and managing health programs, health fairs, and initiatives that address the needs of the community and the Community Health Needs Assessment. This role involves working closely with community members, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote health and wellness, prevent disease, and improve access to healthcare services. Schedule may require evening and weekend work to attend community events and meetings. Work is performed in both office and community settings. Some physical activity, such as lifting and transporting educational materials, may be required. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work, or a related field. Demonstrate dedication tocommunity health and enthusiasm for the work is most important. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in community health, public health, or a related field. Certification:None License:None US:FL:Fort Myers
