EOG Resources, Inc. (NYSE:EOG) is one of the largest crude oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the United States with proved reserves in the United States and Trinidad. The Information Systems - Operations Applications group develops in-house applications to improve the efficiency of core operations and engineering workflows: Drilling, Completions, Production, Reservoir and Economics. The IS Intern should be able to analyze customer requests and document system requirements for development and enhancements. Responsibilities include application testing, documentation, training and tier 1 support. Successful candidate must be able to effectively manage workload in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, team members, and management. Must be creative and have the ability to leverage existing technology to meet customer's business needs. Seeking out a highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. JOB REQUIREMENTS Candidates for this position must be currently enrolled in undergraduate level or graduate level information systems, computer-science, or business-related program.
