Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. degree by March 2025 in one or more of the following: Chinese language; Chinese language; Chinese culture; education; or other related areas. Three years or more of experience in teaching Chinese culture studies courses at the college level is desirable. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 1. The salary range for this position is $78,200 - $86,600. This annual salary rate reflects a 100% appointment. The selected candidate's salary rate will be prorated based on the designated percentage of time.
