Moodle Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Moodle Specialist to join our team and help us develop and maintain our learning management system (LMS) built on the Moodle platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Moodle architecture, development, and administration, as well as experience customizing the platform to meet specific business needs.

About the role

As a Moodle Developer, you will Perform design, configure, customize, and implement responsive and effective LMS systems.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain our Moodle-based LMS, including designing and implementing custom themes, developing, and integrating custom plugins, and configuring and managing the Moodle environment.

* Provide technical support for Moodle users, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.

* Work with other developers and stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain custom features and integrations.

* Develop and implement best practices for Moodle development and administration, including security, performance, and scalability.

* Capable of developing Plugins as per Moodle framework.

* Stay up to date with the latest Moodle developments and recommend upgrades and enhancements to improve the LMS.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

* 2+ years of experience developing and customizing Moodle-based applications.

* Strong knowledge of Moodle architecture and best practices.

* Experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

* Familiarity with Moodle APIs and plugin development frameworks.

* Experience with Moodle theming and customization.

* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
