JPI has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Systems Support Analyst (Sage Intacct) to join our Financial Services team located in Dallas, TX.

The Financial Systems Support Analyst will be responsible for the support and enhancement of JPI's financial systems. The primary system of focus for this position is Sage Intacct, which will be implemented and utilized by the company's Trades business unit, and will be integrated with Workday, the parent company's HRIS & financial ERP system.

This position will work directly with end users, consultants, and third-party vendors to implement Sage Intacct followed by providing customer support involving diagnosis, troubleshooting, provisioning, and escalation for issue resolution in the Sage Intacct environment. The Financial Systems Analyst is further responsible for engaging with business unit and accounting team leadership to identify system optimization opportunities, prioritize those opportunities, and deliver effective continuous improvement of the system, including further development of system integrations and enhanced reporting. Moreover, this position owns system change logs and corresponding change communications to those impacted by enhancements and bug fixes.

JPI is constantly upgrading its technology to automate and streamline its business processes. Projects to implement integrations and enhancements will be frequently launched. This role will be a core team member of any such implementations, contributing system expertise and design support.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide first level of support for JPI users of Sage Intacct - take responsibility for troubleshooting and problem-solving issues. Manage maintenance of Sage Intacct system. Coordinate vendor support where necessary. Document support requests using the company's ticketing software.

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide key business insights. Own Master Data Management in Sage Intacct. Collaborate with Workday system admin to reconcile Master Data between systems (pre/post implementation of integration).

  • Solution, configure, test, implement and maintain enhancements leveraging subject matter expertise.

  • Maintain detailed task management for optimization of process, configuration and reports in financial systems. Own status update for in-flight initiatives and enhancements. Conduct requirements gathering on new requests.

  • Identify, document, and communicate risks encountered on in-flight initiatives and escalate to accounting leadership, technology leadership, or process owners, as applicable.

  • Monitor compliance to and effectiveness of financial controls, and work with finance team leadership to continuously improve controls. Participate in financial audits, as necessary.

  • Maintain detailed process documentation and workflows to ensure understanding of Sage Intacct configuration and data flows.

  • Own and update change log, ensuring communications to impacted individuals to drive system governance.

  • Train and coach new and existing employees on software systems and procedures. Identify internal knowledge gaps for self and analysts based on service ticket history. Create Q&A or knowledge articles for user self-service.

  • Perform user audits for business systems. Maintain user accounts and permissions. Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders on system performance and health.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot system integrations.

  • Continuously interact with Sage Intacct Community and help lead the assessment of impact of new features/upgrades/updates, coordinate rollout, testing and user training.

  • Take an active role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement that delivers scalable and repeatable business processes. Advocate for best practices. Work with stakeholders to establish system roadmap priorities for business functions.

  • Manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced support environment.

Non-Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or Finance required.

  • 3-5 years' experience implementing or supporting Sage Intacct (with administration and configuration capabilities) required. Experience with Sage Construction Module required. Experience with Sage Inventory Module preferred.

  • Exposure to real estate and construction project accounting practices preferred.

  • Understanding of data flows and data warehousing.

  • Experienced in solving problems and improving business processes in a systems environment.

  • Experience in the management of technical people and support partners.

  • Experience in stakeholder management, including the ability to manage challenging priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization.

  • Adaptable to evolving business needs.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Strong attention to detail.
