Radiation Engineer & Business Developer - Remote

Looking for a new professional challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role to the development of our new branch in the US, TRAD Inc. We are looking to expand our business in the US market as well as closely support our existing clients, and you could be the one who will help us succeed!

Your missions:



  • Business development

    • Prospect new clients and markets
    • Promote our services and products (engineering, testing, software and COTS components)
    • Develop the sales of our software, FASTRAD
    • Work as a team with our French Marketing and Sales Department, located in Toulouse, France in establishing and applying the business development strategy
    • Work with our sales representatives in the US for demonstrating FASTRAD and promoting our services and products
    • Participate in conferences, symposia and exhibits representing the company




  • Technical expertise

    • Advise and assist our clients in their projects
    • Assist US clients in integrating FASTRAD to their industrial process
    • Using FASTRAD, provide technical support on the assessment of radiation effects on materials, electronic components and systems
    • Propose solutions following these assessments
    • Host training sessions on FASTRAD for our clients and partners in the US
    • Work as a team with our French Engineering Department, located in Toulouse, France, in improving FASTRAD by providing feedback, proposing evolutions, reporting difficulties
    • Propose and work on radiation effects related projects and publish in conferences




Who you are: you graduated with a master's degree or a PhD in physics or electronics and have at least 5 years of experience in the field, in a scientific or industrial sector.

You are business oriented and already possess your own network in the radiation effects field or, in more general, in the space industry sector. You know how to use your knowledges and network to develop partnerships and projects as well as new sales opportunities for FASTRAD and the TRAD services and products in general.

You are independent and organized, and able to handle multiple tasks at once.

You are willing to travel, in the US and abroad, depending on the needs of your mission.

Experience using FASTRAD, or other radiation and particle/matter interaction simulation software, will be a real advantage for this position.
