Position Summary
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain experience and work with skilled Medical and Pharmacy professionals in a fast-paced, professional setting? If so, the College of Pharmacy - New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center (NMPDIC) is looking for students to assist with the following duties and responsibilities under the supervision of licensed pharmacist(s), faculty, and/or other upper management professionals:
  • Assist with frontend responsibilities including answering phone, assisting guests, taking messages, checking Xerox paper supplies, stock coffee, scanning and filing documents and other administrative tasks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including overseeing Client Satisfaction Survey program.
  • Data entry, creating and editing documents, forms and files.
  • Prepare mailings and documents for mailings and public education.
**Must be Work-Study eligible to be considered for this position**

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills.
  • Required computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet.
  • Proficient in use of office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, laptop and others).
  • Ability to commit to agreed schedule.
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
