The Role

Entegris, a leading supplier of advanced materials and process solutions for the semiconductor, life sciences, and other high-tech industries is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join our team based in the Boise, Idaho region.

At the junction of semi fabs, tool makers, wafer growers and material manufacturers, Entegris is uniquely positioned to solving our customers' most demanding process challenges through a broad solutions portfolio, collaborative and innovative product development, and a focus on science and applications knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue goals, gaining market shares and reaching high profitability levels for one of our key accounts. This role will be relied upon to continue advancement of the customer relationship, gain greater customer intimacy, and communicate Entegris' overall value as a strategic partner.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the global level within assigned account.
  • Understand and communicate the customer's business and technology road map and drive teams to improve product quality, attain/maintain the number one supplier position, and maximize revenue, margin and market share;
  • Manage Key Account responsibilities for a significant number of projects and opportunities with a cross divisional and regional orchestration mind-set;
  • Cultivate effective relationships with customers and sales channel partners at all levels, emphasizing collaboration for mutual benefit specifically.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks within key account.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on key account performance, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Requirements:

  • BA orBS or advanced degree, materials science or chemistry background preferred.
  • Deep technical understanding of the industry including how individual products fit into a larger process. Process materials space like CMP, Films, Wets, Gas, etc., would be a plus.
  • Have broad Semiconductor process knowledge and be able to use that knowledge to uncover strategic opportunities at Key Accounts;
  • Broad technical understanding of products across all BUs;
  • Ability to produce market and customer analysis;
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining close customer relationships at executive levels;
  • Demonstrated track record of understanding and anticipating customer technical and commercial needs;
  • Ability to manage commercial processes and conversations;
  • Ability to analyze commercial opportunities including assessing Entegris' competitive advantage and sizing the opportunity;
  • Negotiation skills including pricing, supply chain terms, etc.;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across regions and functions to muster the resources to execute cross BU global Key Account strategy;
  • Experienceof employment at a semiconductor equipment maker or at a chip maker is of value;
  • Travel - 30% travel
