What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Associate in the Graduate Rotational Program with the The Shyft Group, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing.

Over the course of 3 years, you will rotate through multiple functions, working on key projects, developing technical and interpersonal skills, and building a solid foundation for your career within the organization.

This role focuses on optimizing supply chain and purchasing strategies and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services essential to the organization's success

• Manufacturing transformational processes; creating parts
• Internal customer relationship building and focus
• Collaborating and achieving alignment across diverse business needs
• Creating and negotiating service focused agreements
• Collaborate with logistics teams to improve transportation and delivery processes
• Understanding manufacturing decision making (make-buy analysis)
• Lead or contribute to projects in each rotation, driving measurable results
• Develop a deep understanding of company operations and industry trends
• Build and refine your skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional communication
• Adapt quickly to new environments and take initiative to learn and grow within each rotation

What you need to be successful:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related fields

• Must be either a December 2024 or Spring 2025 graduate

• Must be able to relocate two to three times during the three-year rotational period

• Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.20). Transcripts required with resume submission.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a focus on driving measurable results

• Passion for building strong supplier relationships and contributing to procurement excellence

• Demonstrated leadership experience through internships, extracurricular activities, or volunteer work

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to new challenges, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take ownership of your work

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of purchasing systems and tools (e.g., ERP software)

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
