Why do we need you ?

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Project Management Office, the HR Strategy Optimization intern will help support HR Project Management Office projects and teams. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in HR processes, technology, and transformation as well as core project management principles and practices. This role reports into HR PMO, where the intern will have hands-on experience with various active and ongoing projects and advisory services as part of Saint-Gobain North America's HR Strategy Optimization organization. This could potentially include Merger & Acquisition (M&A) support and HRIS support as needed.

Full-Time - 40 hours per week

Onsite in Malvern, PA preferred or Remote with ability to travel to Malvern 25%

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Support HR PMO team with varied projects, including possible M&A-related integration efforts
  • Opportunity to shadow "day in the life" of a variety of HR Strategy Optimization team members


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide support as needed for additional HR Strategy Optimization projects/digital tools or reporting as needed
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the Senior Manager, HR Project Management Office


MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED



  • Currently enrolled in a Four-Year Bachelor's Degree program working towards a degree or concentration in HR Operations, HR Systems, HR Technology, or HR Management, or project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


PREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
  • Understanding of concepts used in developing and documenting technical solutions, such as integrations between applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exposure to data management and reporting, and file upload/download
  • Proficiency in Monday.com and/or Smartsheet
