Job Overview

We are looking for a Quality Technician that will perform complex inspections that are non-destructive which are otherwise unattainable by standard methods with-out sectioning. This person will work closely with engineering on First Article Inspection for new products. The Individual must have experience using manual inspection and optical inspection instruments.

A Day In The Life

  • Creation of CMM programs and 3D model files.
  • Execution of complex inspections that are non-destructive.
  • Partner with engineering on first article inspection for new products.
  • Constructing new probes/stylus in the CMM software.
  • Following prescribed procedures to shut down CMM equipment at the end of shift
  • Ensure CMM's are running at peak performance and that all required maintence is performed on schedule.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • 3 years minimum related experience
  • Associates degree in Engineering or related field preferred
  • Ability to create CMM programs and work with 3D model files
  • Familiarity with CMM, CAD/CAM software required.
