What You'll Do

Shipping Operation. Effectively manage the employees and equipment necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the shipping of the finished product. Monitor and track customer in yard time to maximize customer satisfaction.

Preventative Maintenance. Work with mobile equipment supervisor to schedule preventative maintenance of equipment necessary to operate the shipping yard.

Safety, Health, and Environment. Be proactive in the safety of all personnel and activities in the operation. Inspect and maintain dust control systems to ensure a healthy work environment. Be knowledgeable of waste products, their impact on the environment, and their proper disposal.

Supervision. Provide an example of good leadership, keep open, effective lines of communication with division staff and plant level personnel.

Inventory Control. Maintain proper levels of inventories to support local sales activities and long-range market demands.

Quality Control. Work closely with the QC Technician onsite to ensure we maintain consistency in the quality of our products and services to the customer.

Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

Education. High School Diploma or its equivalent is required. Courses in Business Administration and/or Industrial Engineering are desirable. 1 - 2 years of college is preferred.

Experience. Knowledge of mining and production techniques and equipment, safety, health and environmental regulations (MSHA, OSHA, EPA, etc.), equipment application and operation.

Leadership and Management Skills. Must be able to provide strong leadership and mentorship to employees, both direct and indirect reports, to motivate and maintain interpersonal relationships.

Interpersonal Skills. Must be an excellent motivator and team builder. Must be able to form strong social relationships and effectively communicate with both internal and external audiences.

Working Conditions. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

Computer Skills. Basic computer skills.
