What you'll do

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Talent Acquisition Director to lead and inspire a team of Docusign recruiters in delivering exceptional hiring outcomes. This critical leadership role oversees the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, driving strategies to attract top talent, elevate candidate experience, and support organizational growth. You will partner closely with senior leaders to align recruiting efforts with business goals, champion diversity and inclusion, and build a scalable, data-driven recruitment
function.

As a key influencer, you will shape the future of the company's talent acquisition strategy, fostering innovation, efficiency, and excellence across all aspects of the hiring process. Your focus will include managing recruiter performance, enhancing global processes, using analytics for decision-making, and promoting a strong employer brand to attract premier talent. Docusign revolutionized eSignature and is now leading in Intelligent Agreement Management.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition.

Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters to deliver seamless and high-impact talent acquisition across multiple regions

  • Build and implement global recruitment strategies that address both short-term hiring needs and long-term workforce planning

  • Build and refine standardized, scalable, and compliant recruitment processes to ensure operational excellence

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and hiring managers to deliver tailored, strategic hiring solutions and workforce plans

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all stages of the hiring process to build an inclusive workforce

  • Manage talent branding initiatives to elevate the organization's employee value proposition and attract top-tier talent globally

  • Establish and track key performance indicators and metrics to assess team effectiveness and drive continuous improvement

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between recruitment, talent development, and broader business goals

  • Oversee critical programs such as the Employee Referral Program, interview training, and candidate feedback processes

  • Lead the recruitment aspects of M&A activities, including talent integration and due diligence

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture through coaching, professional development, and engagement initiatives


Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.


What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 12+ years of global recruiting experience, ideally in the technology industry
  • 7+ years experience as a senior leader in Talent Acquisition, leading recruiters in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and compliant recruitment strategies
  • Solid experience in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve recruitment outcomes
  • Experience working directly with senior executives to align recruitment strategies with business priorities

Preferred

  • Experience driving global talent acquisition strategy within an enterprise software or technology-focused organization
  • Track record of delivering transformative projects that align with long-term strategic goals
  • Expertise in recruitment operations during mergers and acquisitions, including integration planning and execution
  • Passion for fostering an inclusive culture and building diverse teams reflective of the communities served
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills to engage stakeholders across all organizational levels

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $164,800.00 - $232,750.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary

Washington DC: $171,500.00 - $242,225.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
