*Description*
Our client is looking for a Transport Engineer to support their large build plans on their wireless team. This will include initiatives such as spectrum upgrades, equipment swaps, and overall new builds. While a technical background helps, this role has a lot of Project Management duties to include standardization of workflow for processes/procedures, extracting and evaluating data, and ASR processing and order with telco vendors across the footprint. This would include creating assignments, building pathways, and coordinating with various internal and external teams through the finish. This role specifically is a cross between the transport team and the equipment engineers to support on the review of RFDS, cross reference with the work order, then upload. On the more technical side, it could look like the below if you want to be cross utilized- The transport team is responsible for creating, designing and issuing CIQs(IP/Ports assignments) and engineering new cells, trunks, cell and switch growth, circuit ordering, and carrier additions. You will be responsible for a large quantity of projects where the best solutions must be evaluated and activities correlated between multiple engineers and/or workgroups. Your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to: * Place circuit orders with Local Exchange Carriers for a variety of telco services (i.e. dark fiber, EOS, EBH, and TLS) * Complete documentation of transport circuits and paths * Track order status and escalate as required to ensure timely completion * Plan, design, and implement the latest transport technologies in support of our 5G network rollout * Attend frequent project update meetings to present current status of pending and ongoing projects * Manage vendors to meet targeted network milestones and turn-up dates * Collaborate with engineers of different disciplines to deliver on the best transport solution * Create and develop trackers to enhance data integrity, prioritization, and work flow * Work with other groups' forecasts to ensure equipment growth projects meet expectant demands in support of the company's objectives *Top Skills Details* 1) 5+ years of experience performing internal and external coordination for Telecommunication Deployments specific to transport/circuit and equipment engineering. 2) Solid understanding of Telecommunications Transport/RF Design and workflow. 3) Knowledge/Experience with Site Prioritization, Logistics, Materials Delivery, invoice/PO tracking, etc. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
