Job Details Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia is seeking dynamic Student Nurses to join our team as a Nurse Extern! This is an 8-week program, working full-time, starting June 2025. The Student Nurse Extern will work 72 hours biweekly. Shifts available are day or night with rotation. Weekends are required, per the preceptor's schedule. As a Nurse Extern, you will be responsible for the following: Performs specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. Demonstrates accountability for assigned patients on shift or assignment. Seeks out learning opportunities and guidance from appropriate individuals. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern will carry out routine patient care assignments, work in controlled care situations, and perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients. Eligibility Requirements: Graduate from an accredited BSN Program. Obtain a Temporary Practice Permit or RN License in Pennsylvania before starting. Maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA (preferred).
