Responsibilities
  • Quickly assess patients upon arrival to determine the severity of patients' condition, prioritizing care based on urgency. This includes monitoring vital signs, documenting symptoms, and initiating approptriate treatment protocols.
  • Provide immediate care and treatment to patients experiencing acute medical conditions such as trauma, heart attacks, or respiratory distress. This may include administering medications, starting IVs, wound care, and preparing patients for surgery or transfer.
  • Work closely with docotors, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination during emrgency situations.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Diploma from an RN Program

Experience:

  • One (1) year of hospital clinical experience.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
    • Must apply within 90 days for Registered Nurse licensure in secondary state.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must possess and maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within one year of hire
  • Must possess and maintain current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification within one year of hire.
  • Must possess and maintain current The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification within one year of hire.
