We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Medical Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities.
Responsibilities: - Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office - Assisting during office visits (rooming/vitals, examinations, procedures, immunizations, and treatments as directed) - Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (administrative support, phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, coordination of care, etc.) - Maintaining neat, clean, stocked, and safe exam rooms and patient care areas - Interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner consistent with their needs.
