From your PASSION to ours The Analyst, Trade Spend Systems will be responsible for 1) the maintenance of data within Lactalis American Group, Inc.'s systems insuring that more timely and accurate information is available for reporting, tracking and oversight as required by the Commercial Department; 2) management of functional data based requirements that cross product lines with in the trade marketing system (TPM) 3) management of open deductions, with oversight over the validation and clearing of deductions, and ownership over the outstanding balance of open deductions. The Analyst, Trade Spend Systems will effectively communicate cross functionally to achieve the goals of organization, including pricing changes, new item launches, and database changes. From your EXPERTISE to ours Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Analyze data under direction of the Director - Trade Marketing for internal use, key customers, and distribution to broker partners Analyze requests through proprietary software.
- Ability to pull information from various resources (Stratum, IRI) Review with management and implement changes through data warehouse.
- Mange the day to day open deduction balance in the TPM system
- Support the research and clearing of deductions, including the collection of repays
- Provide appropriate analytical support required by the functional leaders of the sales organization.
- Participate in other ad hoc sales analysis projects and special projects as needed.
- Ensure accurate pricing on all invoices
- Ensure accurate system setup administration
- Proper maintenance and administration of contractual obligations related to our broker sales force
- Monitor & track field sales controllable and initiatives Deduction management, price gap monitoring, new item tracking.
- Support Commercial development of internal and external analysis and presentations e.g., NFRA, Board Presentations and Segmentation Chart updates.

Requirements From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or University
Experience
- Three to five years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; 2 years CPG sales or retail experience preferred.
- Sales and/or trade marketing experience
- Sales presentation development / delivery experience
Specialized Knowledge
- Expertise with analytical software; Customer POS (IRI/Nielsen), Panel Data, Spectra Data, Industry studies.
- Experience with customer specific data: Retail Link, Dun Humby, Optura desired.
Skills / Abilities
- Strong communication, organizational and computer skills.
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong inter-personal skills to effectively interact with field sales and headquarter personnel.
- Team oriented (ability to connect with and work cohesively with the field sales organization)
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sales personnel, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
