Job Summary

The PowerApps Senior Solution Architect is responsible for providing technology expertise to design business applications/solutions for the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This includes responsibility for developing artefacts, architectures, technical reference models and designs. As technical solution lead, the architect will understand requirements, develop suitable solutions in alignment with our business strategy and operational processes, and produce design products for approval at governance forums.

Qualifications



  1. As a Technical Solution Architect Lead, work with internal and client stakeholders to solution the best technical approach to address the business requirements for high profile and/or complex projects.
  2. Direct Application Developers on solution and implementation process through production of High Level Design (HLD) & Detailed-Level Design (DLD) documentation to underpin the solution
  3. Provide strategic advice, guidance and direction to database designers, application developers, technical architects and others to achieve the desired architecture target state through the use of Azure DevOps.
  4. Provide coaching and mentoring to junior developers, database designers, application developers, technical architects, and others as required to drive and effective set of skills and capabilities across the team
  5. Work with other team subject matter experts to develop functional and technical specifications to the appropriate level of detail
  6. Where required, produce artefacts to describe the inter-relationships between critical elements (people, organisation, service, process, data, information, technology) and external technical environments
  7. Collaborate with the other architects, suppliers, business and stakeholders to develop, embed and enhance our standard architecture processes, that continuously improve our capabilities and delivery of successful project outcomes.
  8. Collaborate and review with stakeholders to ensure the security, compliance, quality, integrity, safety and availability of all data and data structures comply with the companies policies and procedures
  9. Promote innovative ways for managing


Experience
The suitable candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience of architecting and developing low code employee and customer experience solutions based on the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem including:


* Model & Canvas Power Apps; especially Model Driven Apps
* Power Portal
* Dataverse
* Other Microsoft Technologies; especially Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service Enterprise
* Power Automate
* Power Virtual Agents
* SharePoint


The candidate should come from a Microsoft and/or Dynamics functional consultancy and development background and demonstrate excellent working knowledge of building and deploying managed solutions into Power Platform & SharePoint environments along with experience in integrating Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems. The candidate will also be familiar with visual studio and popular front and back-end code frameworks specifically CSS, React, SPFx, Power Fx, JSON and .net (asp.net/C#) as well as a range of data migration and integration tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management and Event Grid.
