Senior Income Tax Analyst Consultant

Job Overview:
The Senior Income Tax Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of U.S. income tax compliance and provisions. This role supports the growing workload of the Americas Corporate Tax team, which handles tax matters across three business lines. Reporting directly to the Senior Tax Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely tax filings, conducting provisions, and collaborating with internal and external teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review federal, state, municipal, and international corporate income tax returns.
  • Manage quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including effective tax rate schedules and deferred balance analyses.
  • Assist in documenting and improving tax department processes and procedures.
  • Research complex tax issues and provide ad hoc reporting for management.
  • Support audit and planning teams in information gathering and compliance updates.
  • Conduct monthly tax account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with tax authorities.
  • Lead tax staff development in both technical skills and business soft skills.
  • Collaborate with external consultants on tax-related matters.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred but not required).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in corporate income tax, preferably with large companies or public accounting experience supporting large clients.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in CorpTax and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and process improvement tools (Alteryx, KNIME).
    • Knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws, ASC 740, and IAS 12.

Timeline:
  • Target date: January 16, 2025.
  • Onboarding will be limited before mid-January due to year-end provisions.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
