Location:

La Porte, TX - Miller Cut-Off Rd - Industrial spec gas - Hydrocarbon Mix Plant How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? RTS is responsible for preparing cylinders to be shipped out. The RTS associate puts cert labels on cylinders based on orders, and ensures cylinders are up to SOP standards. The RTS associate also helps ship out cylinders, and help in other areas.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and actively promotes safe work practices in the facility.

  • Reviews individual customer orders and associated manufacturing paperwork to ensure compliance

  • Receiving of all incoming shipments from C196

  • Packages products in accordance with Airgas SOP

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training.

  • Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • SAP experience is ideal.

  • Ability to understand chemical terminology and nomenclature.

  • Ability to recognize chemical hazards and respond appropriately.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulations, purchase orders, customer orders and shipping documents using the English language.

  • Ability to communicate via email and phone with customers, carriers and freight forwarders.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to compute units of measure and conversions.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle, feel, and operate cylinder valves, operate machinery, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
