SUMMARY OF ROLE:

The Sr Director of Commercial Insights and Analytics has the unique opportunity to impact the lives of patients all around the world. S/he will be responsible for leading the Insights and Analytics vertical for supporting our Strategic Account, Marketing and Market Access teams by providing a variety of service offerings including, IDN and Strategic account forecasting, claims analysis, media analytics and real world data analytics to identify trends, opportunities and risks to inform decision making. Key Leader and driver in evaluating the business operations and performance in these areas to help them make informed decisions, by analyzing sales trends, market conditions, and financial data, and provide insights to execute the business strategies.

S/he will need to have collaboration cross functionally, across the entire organization as well as within the Commercial organization and specifically the Marketing, IDN and Market Access teams. Strong strategic and analytical skills are a required skill set and will be necessary to achieve the Commercial organizations strategic and financial goals as well as developing short and long-term plans in support of the corporate objectives and to meet the needs of our key stakeholders and customers. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in creating reports and visualizations that communicate complex commercial information in a clear, meaningful way for a wide variety of stakeholders, including C-level executives.

The leader will be required to formulate and manage an insights generation plan for each functional area to maximize the business potential and performance for the broader Commercial Team. This position requires strong in-line leadership as well as the ability to influence and engage across the organization (e.g., Market Access, Regulatory, Contracting, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, International, Medical, Business Development, etc.).

S/he will be an ambassador for instilling our cultural values and influential in recruiting, retaining, and developing talent to deliver better patient outcomes. It will also be the responsibility of this position to execute continued efforts towards enterprise resource planning to ensure long term sustainability of the business and improve our employee experience and productivity.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial Insights Analytics:



  • Establish commercial vision and strategy for commercial insights and analytics Marketing, IDN and Market Access function; lead in-line team members and partner cross functionally to provide insights to Functional Leadership to support the company in meetings its strategic goals. Confident presenting full range of commercial insights and key strategic information to executive leadership.
  • Champion and instill company and cultural values. Ensure initiatives align with Lantheus' culture and corporate goals.
  • Lead team to manage growth and change, develop human capital, and create and maintain a culture of engagement and accountability. Recruit, retain, develop, and coach talent to create business impact and achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Oversee budget development, refinement, and management in relation to quarterly, annual, and long-range strategic plans.
  • Lead operational analytics functions and disciplines and are responsible for business goals and objectives and assume accountability for organizational results; influence personnel to achieve and or exceed objectives. Proactively communicate with relevant internal stakeholders to identify, plan, develop and/or revise project deliverables which are identified for product or launch success.
  • Execute continued efforts towards enterprise resource planning to ensure long term sustainability of the business. Ensure processes, systems and projects meet Lantheus compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Leverage and align full range of resources to meet rigorous timelines; routinely make decisions that affect current and long-range corporate objectives.
  • Negotiate agreements with internal/external senior management that are critical to attainment of organizational objectives; provide consultative support and guidance to other executive leadership team members in planning marketing, sales, licensing, alliance and related initiatives through market and sales analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate and employ the judgment, flexibility and situational leadership required to lead sales and marketing through complex combinations of market challenges, including business and organizational change necessitated by changes in the medical, regulatory, and business environment.

Consistent track record of providing prompt and objective feedback, coaching, and counseling to enhance or improve performance by setting expectations and holding individuals accountable for performance and behavior.

  • Proven ability to communicate ideas and information both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner to all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make enterprise-wide decisions and remain persistently focused on priorities.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:



  • 12+ years in positions of escalating scope and responsibility within regulated life sciences organizations or the equivalent, with specific experience in the areas of insights and analytics, commercial effectiveness, commercial strategy, commercial operations, market access, data analytics and leveraging market research to inform market and product insights. 8+ years of experience in a senior data visualization role that required both the development and presentation of commercial information to senior leadership to influence business decisions.
  • Extensive commercial experience with a solid record of achievement and leadership in either therapeutics or diagnostics, including launch experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical, diagnostic, and or medical device industry and hospital systems (e.g., GPOs, Medical Directors, P&T Committees, referral patterns, etc.), as well as federal, state, industry, company and customer compliance regulations and policy
  • Wide ranging command of pharmaceutical / diagnostic / med device commercial experience inclusive of marketing, sales, commercial and marketing operations, training, and new product planning.


Preferred:



  • Experience in Oncology and Neurology
  • Clinical and/or technical discipline knowledge (e.g., radiopharmaceuticals, theragnostics, treatment paradigms, and future trends)
  • MBA


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



  • Routine overnight travel based on business need and frequent weekend work may be required.
  • Valid driver's license
