Requisition Id14333 Overview: The Infrastructure Lead position in the Fusion and Fission Energy and Science Directorate (FFESD) is responsible for coordinating infrastructure, space and facilities within the directorate and providing leadership and oversight on all major infrastructure, space, facility, and equipment projects conducted. The position acts in support of the FFESD research mission and directorate leadership to efficiently manage resources on behalf of the directorate personnel to allow greater focus on the mission. This position will provide operational support to directorate staff to manage, acquire, renovate, and assign space. This position will be a primary interface to the ORNL Laboratory Modernization Division for infrastructure planning and development, space renovations and acquisitions, space management, and space assignment. The Infrastructure Lead will maintain compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, DOE Orders, and ORNL policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and environmental protection. Additionally, this position will work as a part of an integrated team that has responsibility for environmental, health, safety and quality oversight activities and facility management tasks associated with work control and facility operations in support of science and engineering activities.
