Position Summary

Under the direction of the Donor Services Leadership, supports the Donor Services department by performing the following operational duties, including, but not limited to, the opening, evaluation and organizing of returned totes and containers, as well as picking, gathering and restocking for totes and containers. Responsible for product replenishment, stocking, distribution, and overall management of inbound inventory.

    Part time 20-29 hrs a week
  • Mon-Friday with Flexibiiy Available , Wednesdays are a must 800 AM-4:00 PM
  • $18.24/Hr
  • Part time benefits available

Responsibilities

  • Maintains diligent awareness of mobile blood drive schedule and necessary quantity of supplies by reviewing the necessary database.
  • Gathers, stages, and loads all required/requested supplies for blood drives into designated vehicles, including equipment vans and buses.
  • Restocks blood drive supply totes and blood buses with blood collection supplies utilizing a specific restock process with predetermined quantities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Stages blood drive restock totes and supplies in designated areas
  • Monitors supply levels of blood drive materials and follows procedures for requesting additional supplies when necessary, maintaining product inventory levels according to appropriate procedure.
  • Maintains a neat and tidy stock room with descriptive product labels.
  • Rotates product based on First in First Out principle.
  • Performs a physical inventory count according to appropriate procedure.
  • Promotes excellent internal and external customer service through appearance, communication and demeanor.
  • Must follow all guidelines including, but not limited to, temperature, handling restrictions, and being within appropriate time frames. Be an active participant in continuous improvement. Drives necessary and positive change
  • Perform additional duties to support Donor Services Team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Experience

  • Stocking or inventory experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures and safety rules.
  • Ability to communicate with direct support, participate and collaborate as a team member.
  • Ability to write basic correspondence.
  • Ability to manage necessary tools and technology such as computer, printer, and Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; multi-task; work with confidential information.
  • Possess great attention to detail
  • Possess a professional demeanor and projection of appropriate professional image as a member of the organization.
  • Ability to travel as require between state sites
  • Able to organize work to provide productive workflow needed to facilitate effective operations.
