What you'll do:

The Field Service Technician is a position that travels overnight to our customer facilities.

This position is remote and the ideal candidate will live in #Florida #Georgia #Oklahoma #Texas #California

This position is responsible for all aspects of the installation of company's products including, but not limited to, Walk in's, Truck Body, PDV, REACH and Specialty Vehicles. Beyond installation activities you will be responsible for safety, cleanliness of the work area, quality, and the professional interaction with customers.

  • Conducting routine equipment servicing out in the field.
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment failures.

  • Repairing equipment and replacing faulty parts.

  • Installing and testing new equipment.

  • Providing preventive equipment maintenance.

  • Maintaining equipment stock in the company vehicle.

  • Completing job reports.

  • Be aware of how your performance impacts company's financial bottom line and reputation

  • Other tasks as assigned

What you need to be successful:

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Proven work experience as a Field Service Technician or minimum 6 months or more as Assembler for our company with excellent attendance and favorable performance background.

  • Valid Driver's license.

  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

  • Must be willing and able to travel for more than 30 days at a time.

  • Ability to work and execute tasks as instructed.

  • Self-starter with minimal supervision throughout the day.
  • Possess, or be able to obtain: Passport and be able to enter Canada and Mexico.
  • Pass DOT Physical.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions and work positions.
  • Must be willing and able to fly.
  • Understand and uphold company's Quality Assurance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
  • Consistently display behaviors that support the Company Values with a sense of urgency to exceed our customers' expectations.
  • Strong and consistent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task.
  • Versatile, flexible, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Capable of comprehensive listening (understanding the message(s) that is being communicated).
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
