Data Insight Specialist

Headquartered in Hampton, Virginia, we serve over 1,500 people annually in the Hampton Roads region and surrounding areas. Our services span early childhood development, community living, employment, day support, and training. We foster partnerships with businesses to offer staffing solutions for employers and create employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Position Purpose: VersAbility Resources is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Insights Specialist to join our Marketing and Development team. This full-time, hybrid position provides an exciting opportunity to leverage data-driven insights in support of our mission, helping to drive impact across multiple areas of the organization. The Data Insights Specialist will report to the Vice President of Marketing and Development.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the optimization, management, and maintenance of the Bloomerang (CRM Software)
• Develop and manage comprehensive data dashboards to visualize donor trends, interactions, and donation tracking using Bloomerang, Adaptive Insights (Financial Software), Apricot (Training Management Software), and Credible (EHR Software).
• Analyze donor data and provide actionable insights to the VP of Marketing and Development, as well as the Executive Team.
• Support the Director of Future of Work, Marketing Manager, and Grant Manager with relevant data, analytics, and mailing lists.
• Accurately enter donor gifts into Bloomerang and reconcile with Adaptive Insights, ensuring clear communication of grant reporting and donor recognition requirements.
• Ensure timely processing of donor gift acknowledgments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit setting.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable and accessible manner.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data management.

Work Environment: This is a hybrid work position, with a combination of remote and in-office work.
