The Learning Creator is a strong creative, forward-thinking candidate with exceptional execution skills to continue the growth of our client's L&D Organization. As a L&D Creator, you will have the opportunity to join a dedicated group of individuals who are leaders in creating the best in class learning experiences for their commercial organization. The day-to-day responsibilities will require a combination of technical skills, creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to creating effective and engaging learning experiences in a variety of modalities.

  • Creating, designing, developing, and delivering high-quality materials that are learner-centric solutions that primarily include: learning modules, interactive courses, in-person/virtual workshops, assessments, pull through materials, and multimedia content. Secondary responsibilities might include scripting podcasts and/or video scripts.
  • Collaborating with Learning Architects, Learning Business Partners, Program Managers and other key stakeholders to understandthe learning solution design, objectives, process, timeline, and other deployment requirements to drive the efficient creation of effective learning solutions that drive to pre-aligned agreed business outcomes.
  • Utilizing authoring tools, PowerPoint, and desktop publishing tools to create learning solutions. Examples include: Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Xyleme, MS PowerPoint, Adobe In-Design, Microsoft Publisher, Kahoot, etc.
  • Designing Interactive Moments: Partnering with Learning Architect to identify embedding decision points, knowledge checks, or branching scenarios that allow learners to influence the direction of their learning experience and engage with content in an active, story driven way.
  • Using Visual and Multimedia elements: Employing visuals and animation that enhance the story, making complex concepts easier to understand and more memorable.
  • Processing strong writing skills to create clear, concise and engaging content suitable for variety of learning modalities and audiences.
  • Utilizing instructional design, graphic design, technical expertise, and user experience principles to structure courses for optimal learning outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Testing and ensuring the functionality and usability on e-learning modules on various devices and platforms and addressing any technical issues/bugs that may arise.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance learning strategies.
  • Supporting the Learning & Development approval process by responding to and/or incorporating feedback from Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams and performing other tasks related to the creation of compliant learning materials.
  • Being responsible for the end-to-end process for creating learning deliverables. Examples include: applying learning and content design standards, utilizing data for improvements, being a steward of quality, and packaging content for uploading into appropriate learning systems for distribution.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Masters in Learning/ instructional technology preferred.
  • 2-4 years relevant experience as a learning developer creating content within a learning & development environment/learning organization.
  • Strong writing skills to create clear, concise, and engaging content suitable for a variety of learning modalities and audiences.
  • Strong experience with content authoring software such as Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) or Adobe Captivate, and other learning tech platforms to create various modalities such as videos, podcasts, infographics, interactive PDFs, etc.
  • Strong understanding of learning and development
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to transparently manage internal stakeholder's expectations and proactively mitigate risk.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Products (Teams, SharePoint, Planner, MS Word, PPT, Excel, etc.)
  • Life science/pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred.
  • High learning agility
  • Strong attention to detail (Quality Assurance, Writing Skills, Design, etc.)
  • Must have a start-up, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to operationalize, scale, and create sound ways of working.
  • Open to Remote with about 10% domestic travel required.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $50.00 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
