We are seeking a Quality Programs Data Specialist to support our efforts in delivering exceptional patient care through quality and value-based care initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring compliance and program performance by managing and analyzing data, conducting chart reviews, and collaborating with the quality team to drive success across network and practice-level initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and experienced in administrative roles within a medical setting. A background in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is preferred, along with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Employment Type: Part-Time 16-20 hours per week; The schedule offers flexibility to accommodate individual needs, with set days to be determined based on mutual agreement. Location: Remote position with required training and occasional meetings in Vancouver, WA. Salary Range: $20.76 - $31.55 per hour **Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise as well as internal employee equity considerations. Scope: Under direct supervision, provides a variety of administrative and support services for the department. Assists the Quality Programs Manager with tasks and projects related to Quality and Value-Based Care Programs. Adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. This role involves substantive administrative responsibilities and is not a secretarial position.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for special projects, including conducting research, compiling data, and preparing summary reports.
- Monitor and audit beneficiary data to ensure compliance and program performance, resolving documentation and data issues promptly.
- Actively track program performance in alignment with applicable program standards and guidelines.
- Assist with chart reviews to ensure compliance with value-based care program standards and guidelines.
- Compile and analyze data, creating graphs and charts to demonstrate performance trends and insights.
- Collaborate with quality team members to identify and address issues related to data management and program success in network and practice-level initiatives.
- Offer administrative support to the Quality Programs Manager, ensuring smooth operations.
- Assist in the design and implementation of office forms, leveraging knowledge of software applications and updates as needed.
- Maintain organized and accessible filing systems, regularly updating information, purging outdated files, and creating new systems as necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support program goals and team operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business preferred.
- At least three years of office administration experience.
- Experience in a medical or hospital setting is preferred, along with coursework in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula functions, data queries, and pivot tables, is required
