Pay Range

$193,020 - $244,752 Annually

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Job Description

We have an opening for aWork Planning and Control (WP&C) Facility Integration Managerto lead efforts improving WP&C integration with the facility staff in multiple interfacing processes and programs. In this role you will maintain and develop new software and administrative resources to ensure cross-organizational alignment across the laboratory. You will ensure the procedures, processes, and training are in place to enable facility management to provide efficient and complaint support. This position is within the Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) Directorate.

This position may offer a hybrid schedule, which includes the flexibility to work from home one or moredays per week, after a probationary period. The specifics of the hybrid schedule, including the exact number of days required in the office and virtual work options may vary based on the needs of the team and the organization.

You will

  • Lead the Institutional Stakeholder Advisory Group for Facility Management to understand their needs and challenges, drive improvements, and communicate changes.
  • Provide technical leadership strategies to integrate Work Planning and Control (WP&C) requirements, processes, and procedures.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, which includes managing resources and schedules, to ensure a variety of stakeholder needs are considered while navigating highly complex challenges.
  • Identify and recommend changes to existing institutional policies, programs, processes, and software necessary to support and effective and efficient WP&C.
  • Lead the process to review, comment, and deconflict institutional and sub-institutional procedures.
  • Develop, monitor, and act based on metrics relevant to Facility Management.
  • Provide technical training and briefs to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or a science field or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Experience leading and expert knowledge of WP&C processes in one or more of the following areas: Technical Training & Qualification, Facilities, and/or Technical Work Procedures.
  • Experience leading and managing technical workforce, training, and/or facility programs with highly complex requirements and rigorous oversight.
  • Advanced experience in leadership roles involving interactions with senior management and external regulatory organizations.
  • Experience leading, developing and championing creative and innovative solutions to highly complex issues and problems related to WP&C.
  • Substantial experience leading change and mentoring various levels of staff, including technicians, engineers, and managers through a change process.
  • Expert technical, organizational, collaboration, influencing skills necessary to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Expert verbal and written communication, facilitation, collaboration and presentation skills required to effectively present, explain and advise senior management and external regulators.

This position requires a Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level clearance.If you are selected, wewill initiate a Federal background investigation to determine if youmeet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or matter.
