Job Summary Serve as the lead strategic marketing expert for Chandler-Gilbert Community College including managing the marketing team, overseeing goals, projects and deliverables, managing budget, collaborating with the Maricopa Community College District Marketing team and serving as a content expert in partnership with college teams and offices Essential Functions 50% Lead the strategic direction of the marketing efforts of the college including guiding collaborative plans, determining priorities, creating short- and long-term action plans and consulting with college teams about marketing needs 10% Collaborate and contribute to the collective work of the marketing team as an active creator of content via social media, writing and/or design 10% Collaborate with the CGCC Technology and Webmaster team to maintain and improve the CGCC internal and external websites 10% Lead the Public Relations work of the college to promote key college priorities 10% Manage and supervise the work of the marketing team 10% Manage the budget, vendor relationships and strategic spending for paid media in collaboration with the District Marketing Team Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in public relations, marketing, journalism or related field and five years of professional experience in planning, developing and implementing marketing, advertising, and public relations programs for an assigned functional area, which includes two years of supervisory experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications 1. Experience in higher education marketing and communication 2. Experience in Public Relations and creating public relations plans in the education sector 3. Supervision and management experience 4. Project Management and client serving experience in the marketing space 5. Experience working with the student recruitment pipeline 6.
