Job Description

General Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Scheduler role supports clinical and commercial manufacturing scheduling of cell and gene therapy operations. This role works with the manufacturing team through all phases up to and including commercialization, as well as supporting all aspects of manufacturing such as production schedule management and suite coordination with key stakeholders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains manufacturing schedule

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders such as EM/UM, QC, and Facilities

  • Provides scheduling updates to leadership forums

  • Measures and communicates key performance indicators to support manufacturing metrics

  • Leads all manufacturing suite coordination efforts and works closely with manufacturing supervisors on daily tactical schedules.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Effective interpersonal, communication and written skills with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment, manage priorities, and maintain timelines for multiple projects.

  • Demonstrates sound understanding of relevant clinical / commercial manufacturing

  • Demonstrates ability to explain manufacturing process days

  • Demonstrates knowledge of cGMP's as related to materials management and clinical manufacturing

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical or engineering discipline

  • 4-5 years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, in manufacturing and development of drug product manufacturing processes in a cGMP environment

Flex Designation:

On-Site Designated

Flex Eligibility Status:

In this On-Site designated role, you will work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
