Job Title: Tank Wagon Loader

About the Role:

The Tank Wagon Loader plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that products are efficiently and accurately transferred from production to storage tanks and subsequently loaded for shipping. This position is essential in maintaining product quality and meeting customer requirements.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Loading Operations:

    • Load tank wagons according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Properly align tank rail wagons to load pipes.


  • Documentation:

    • Complete all necessary shipping paperwork accurately.
    • Ensure that all special customer requirements are fulfilled.


  • Quality Assurance:

    • Verify the correct type of oil is loaded into each tank.
    • Properly seal tank wagons to maintain product integrity.


  • Customer Coordination:

    • Provide drivers with required customer paperwork and samples before leaving the premises.


  • Valve Operations:

    • Open and close the correct valves during loading and unloading operations.


  • Inventory Management:

    • Learn and utilize the company's inventory system (E21) to ensure proper tracking and documentation.




Qualifications:



  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures.
  • Ability to complete and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Experience in inventory management systems (familiarity with E21 is a plus).
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with drivers and team members.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or shipping environment is preferred.
