Our client, a leading manufacturing company known for innovation and excellence in the production of high-quality products is seeking a skilled Warehouse Lead to join their team. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse in a manufacturing company. This role involves overseeing the team responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers. The Warehouse Lead ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous process improvements to align with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Team Management: Lead and manage the warehouse team, allocating tasks to ensure smooth operations and high performance.
  • Operations Oversight: Oversee product receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and provide training to team members on safety protocols.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, continuously optimizing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory, monitor performance, and generate reports.
  • Audits: Conduct periodic warehouse audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address issues affecting warehouse operations, including equipment malfunctions, personnel concerns, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products.


Qualifications:



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the oil manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards related to warehouse operations.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team.
    • Proficiency with warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.


  • Certification: Forklift certification is preferred.
