Job Description General Summary: Vertex currently operates at the forefront of rare disease scientific innovation and has successfully developed and commercialized multiple breakthrough medicines for Cystic Fibrosis (CF), Sickle Cell Disease and Transfusion-Dependent Beta Thalassemia. In addition to clinical development programs in CF, Vertex has more than a dozen ongoing research programs focused on the underlying mechanisms of other serious diseases such as programs in Pain, Type 1 diabetes, IgA Nephropathy, APOL-1 Mediated Kidney Disease, and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The Associate Director, Market Access Strategy - CF will be responsible for delivering effective market access strategies and resources to maximize access and uptake for the five, currently approved medicines, and the CF pipeline program. This role will work closely with Brand Marketing, Medical Affairs, Public Affairs, HEOR, Payer Account Management, and Field colleagues to ensure goal alignment and to meet corporate objectives.
