Logistics Lead: This is where you come in.

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Lead to drive operational efficiency and elevate team performance within our Logistics Department. This role is pivotal in leading the team to success by refining scheduling practices, training and mentoring new team members on procedures and software, and collaborating with management to enhance service delivery.

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Fleet Management
    • Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and performance.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
    • Track utilization, fuel consumption, and optimize routes for efficiency.
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Plan and execute transportation and delivery operations.
    • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders for timely shipments.
    • Address and resolve logistical challenges.
  • Team Leadership
    • Train, supervise, and motivate drivers and team members.
    • Ensure adherence to policies, safety protocols, and service standards.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans.
  • Data-Driven Improvements
    • Analyze fleet and logistics data to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Report on KPIs like delivery times, costs, and downtime.
    • Develop strategies to boost operational efficiency.
  • Budget Management
    • Assist in managing budgets for fleet and logistics operations.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
    • Negotiate vendor and supplier contracts effectively.

The Logistics Lead reports directly to Meghan Marquardt, Fleet and Logistics Manager, as part of a collaborative team driving various projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This high-impact role offers significant visibility, engaging with all levels and departments across the organization.

Compensation: $29/hr to $35/hr
