As the Planner I, you will play a pivotal role in planning products designated for use in manufacturing replenishment and new product launches. You will be responsible for analyzing inventory to ensure consistency with production plans and company inventory policies while interfacing with Finance to report financial impact. In this role, you will work closely with buyers, procurement, manufacturing, and other internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure a smooth product supply.

The Opportunity

  • Performs daily, weekly and monthly planning processes and activities to meet all objectives.

  • Plans material requirements to support production, service and sales based on ERP requirements, to ensure manufacturing flow is not interrupted or delayed due to shortages, and that sales orders can be filled, while also minimizing inventory levels and scrap.

  • Schedules work orders on ERP system and coordinates their release with manufacturing. Reschedules work orders, based on changing requirements and material availability.

  • Monitors shop floor activities to ensure ship commit dates are met. Expedites work orders as necessary. Enters and maintains lead times, lot sizes and part-specific planning parameters.

  • Works closely with the Global Planner to assure alignment between instances of ERP systems in both data and optimal requirement patterns. Ensures the Hub has the correct lead time in their system to drive demand in a timely manner.

  • Reviews internal requests/demands for internal materials upon receipt and assigns accordingly for fulfillment.

  • Provides Demand and Capacity Assessments in hours and pieces. Assists with the collection and reporting of data for Supply Chain metrics.

Who You Are

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson, AZ is $55,100.00 - $95,700.00 USD Annual.Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
