Cox Enterprises is currently looking for a Human Resources Business Partner Manager to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia .

The Role:

At Cox Enterprises, we believe our people are our greatest asset. We're looking for a strategic, creative, and consultative Human Resources Business Partner Manager to join our People Solutions team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead meaningful change while shaping the future of our organization, contributing to our overall success. Reporting to the HRBP Director, the ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution, demonstrating the ability to lead HR initiatives for assigned client groups while collaborating closely with senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership

  • Partner with the HRBP Director to develop and implement integrated people plans, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and goals for assigned business units.
  • Take full ownership of at least one leader/team, serving as their primary HR point of contact and strategic advisor.
  • Influence leaders to accelerate business priorities through talent management, inclusion and diversity, rewards/recognition, and organizational effectiveness.


Talent Management and Development

  • Coach and counsel leaders to cultivate effective leadership practices that empower teams and drive success.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP Director to plan and promote strategies addressing talent gaps and needs, continuously improving talent priorities.
  • Use data-driven insights to influence leadership decisions, improve talent outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.


Organizational Effectiveness

  • Champion change management best practices during organizational transitions.
  • Anticipate and respond to changing business needs, serving as a change advocate on company-wide strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leaders to design organizational structures that fuel long-term success within assigned client groups.


Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with the HRBP Director to leverage the expertise of Cox's Centers of Excellence (COEs) in developing innovative talent solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, regularly seeking feedback and implementing enhancements to HR programs based on data-driven insights.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field and 6 years' experience in human resources or a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
  • Experience working with, coaching, and influencing senior leaders.
  • Strong business acumen with problem-solving, critical thinking, and proactive initiative.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation expertise to collaborate effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  • Experience driving human resource strategies and programs in dynamic, complex and fast-growing environments.
  • Success working within a matrixed organization.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in business, HR, or a related field.
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or GPHR.
  • Background in consulting, technology, or other rapidly evolving industries.
  • Experience with diverse portfolio management.

USD 99,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
