Pay Range: $76,000 - $109,000

The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for providing critical analysis and support related to the procurement of insurance policies, management of insurance claims, tracking of insurance and risk related data, and implementation of risk mitigation activities.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):



  • Insurance policy renewal and claims data gathering and analysis
  • Insurance application completion
  • Coordination and assistance with underwriting submission completion
  • Certificate issuance and tracking
  • Updating insurance and premium payment schedule
  • Policy and insurance document retention
  • Assist in reporting claims timely as needed
  • Coordinate external service providers including brokers, TPAs, consultants, and actuaries

    • Coordinate engineering surveys done by property insurance lead and liaison with Tempur Sealy engineers
    • Manage review of workers compensation claims with brokers, consultants, legal and HR business partners.
    • Organize plant visits, presentations and meetings to enhance the knowledge of Tempur Sealy to underwriters


  • Act as Risk Management information systems (Riskonnect) administrator
  • Project management to include coordination of deliverables and various projects
  • Prepare reports, metrics and presentations for internal use, senior management and external partners (underwriters)
  • Workers' Compensation cost allocation program administration
  • Insurance cost allocation budget preparation and coordination with other Finance Team members
  • Assist in management of insurance captive
  • Track outstanding collateral posted to secure insurance obligations
  • Processing invoices
  • Management of internal Risk Management website


Other Duties:



  • Back-up for various cash operation matters
  • Support and coordinate activities with financial planning, accounting and audit, operations and legal departments as needed
  • Other duties as needed including various administrative duties

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • Relevant work experience in insurance, financial analysis or accounting.
  • Accounting and finance knowledge
  • Self-starter with positive and inquisitive nature and strong problem-solving capabilities.


Education and/or Experience



  • College degree with concentration in business, risk management, finance or accounting. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Two plus years of corporate risk management, treasury, finance, banking or accounting experience, or equivalent is preferred.


Software

Exceptional PC literacy pertaining to spreadsheet, graphics and word processing software, with emphasis on Microsoft Office modules. Familiarity with a risk information management system (Riskonnect) and/or Treasury workstation (Kyriba) is a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations

Prefer one or more of the following:



  • Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
