City Experiences is seeking a Special Events Planner for our Sales operation

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

Based in Hornblower's corporate office in Orlando, Florida, and reporting to the Vice President of Events and Partnerships, this role will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of developing, implementing, and executing the new event sales platform.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Reports to VP of Events and Partnerships
  • Researching music and broader entertainment events in our key markets
  • Assisting VP in the architecture of the master schedule of events
  • Identifying and managing vendors related to the support of events
  • Assisting in the execution of contracts with vendors and artists
  • Publishing event analytics
  • Partner with port operations on event logistics
  • Build and maintain relationships with GM's, DOS's and other key team members


Requirements & Qualifications:



  • Traveling to our ports for scouting, developing, planning, and attending events (up to 75% travel)
  • Experience in Event space preferred


  • 3+ years of experience in sales or marketing preferred, ideally within the hospitality or marine industries, with a track record of successfully executing events
