Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for applications and platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite , WebCenter, BI, Vertex, Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Solve complex problems and develop proof of concepts to validate ideas and technologies.
  • Partner with development and operations teams along with vendors to provide support and maintenance for applications, platforms, and environments across the portfolio.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of platform patching and validations.
  • Implement platform automation by writing scripts and integrating toolsets.
  • Provide accurate metrics and status on application and platform performance.
  • Identify and prioritize operational and platform improvement opportunities.
  • Plans for and implements backup and recovery for all relevant applications.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains database manuals, documentation, policies and procedures for installing, configuring, maintaining and using database systems and technologies.
  • Work with infrastructure, network, storage and application teams to ensure business applications are highly available and performing within agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate with Application and Infrastructure teams to adhere to best practices and security standards.
  • Mentor and coach other database administrators.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.


Minimum Qualificiations

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years' experience in a related field
  • Requires at least 4 years of experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.x, Oracle Database 19c, Oracle ExaCS , RAC & multitenant databases, VM databases in OCI cloud platform.
  • Experience administering Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Requires experience with disaster recovery
  • Requires experience with implementing and supporting Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, and ASM.
  • Provide and implement performance-tuning recommendations for all components of ExaCS.
  • Proactive and reactive performance analysis.
  • Experience with Oracle RAC/Multitenant architecture, Data Guard, partitioning, compression
  • Exadata HA and DR concepts and options, including RAC, PCP, Shared File Systems, ASM, Data Guard and Golden Gate
  • Requires an understanding of IDCS SSO with EBSAsserter


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC),OBIEE, WebCenter, Vertex, SSO,GRC, OIM, OID, WebLogic and Apigee is a plus
  • Understanding of both Software Development Life Cycle and DevOps best practices such as Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Delivery for distributed services
  • Experience with Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid Control 13c
  • Experience with Perl, Shell, Sql & PL/Sql scripting for Alerts, Monitoring and Auditing
  • Experience with EBS Cloning, Patching, Upgrades and System Administration
  • Understanding of Load Balancing, Web Servers and SSL Certificates
  • Ability to partner with Managed Service Onshore and Offshore resources (resource planning, escalation, documentation review)


USD 99,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
