Our senior creative directors are seasoned pros who own the experiential vision on an account and lead a larger group of creatives to bring the brand to life with memorable experiences.

The senior creative director drives innovation, riffs with diverse groups of creatives, and inspires big idea thinking across multiple mediums and experiential channels. They have strong communication skills, feel comfortable in front of clients, and can collaborate with their extended agency team. Our creative directors are passionate, strategic conceptual thinkers with a killer book of experiential campaigns and a positive attitude that connects and energizes their teams.

Responsibilities



  • Provide creative leadership with clients, influence vision and align the team behind you to create the motivation and passion which delivers "best in class" creative work on projects in a timely manner.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the creative process.
  • Interface with the creative team, internal account teams, and clients to develop innovative yet intuitive creative solutions that address complex business, marketing, and user needs through a variety of channels.
  • Concept and direct leading creative work for major accounts in multiple marketing media and disciplines.
  • Oversee the narrative and visual development of the idea in collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Manage the creative process for large-scale projects, tight deadlines, and high volume of work with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Possess the presence and experience to interface at the executive level, developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Possess strong skills in written and verbal communication, visual presentation, and meeting facilitation in both individual and group settings.
  • Generate and present thought leadership on behalf of the agency.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with all company departments, with particular emphasis on a team approach to projects.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in an event or experiential marketing agency with a particular focus in brand activations and large integrated events.
  • Minimum of 7+ years leading creative directors, copywriters, art directors and other creatives.
  • Expert knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling big ideas and agency creative capabilities. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, culture shocking ideas and creative, event and experience design, press upfronts, product launches, etc.
  • Experience with the development of creative, content, and understanding of multi/omni channel marketing.
  • Understanding of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation.
  • Possess strong conceptual skills and a high-level sense of story, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of creative solutions and lead creative teams to success.
  • Accomplished interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills are a must.
  • Excellent customer and inter-company relationship skills.
  • Proven experience in managing small and large creative projects from inception to project closeout, including excellent follow-up methodology.
  • Established ability to manage the everyday details of the creative process while focusing on the highest quality result.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime, as needed.
  • Required to travel to meet with clients for meetings, site visits, and presentations.

Our interview process is hand crafted to our roles. In general, you can expect to have an initial phone interview with our talent acquisition team and thereafter video interviews with team members and your future manager.
