As the Sr. Manager, BI, you will oversee the organization's business intelligence and analytics strategy, transforming the way data is utilized across the company. You will lead a team of skilled developers, manage the design and implementation of BI solutions, and ensure that the company's data architecture supports advanced analytics and business insights. You will leverage tools like SQL, Power BI, IPAAS (Celigo), NetSuite, PowerShell, SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline workflows and integrate systems. Reporting to the VP of IT Ops, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and foster a data-first culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor a team of BI and data professionals, including developers.
    • Oversee the development of data analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Set team objectives and provide technical guidance to ensure project success.
  • Business Intelligence Development
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable data models, dashboards, and reports to deliver actionable insights.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics and build self-service BI tools.
    • Leverage SQL, Power BI, IPAAS (Celigo), NetSuite, PowerShell, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate to streamline workflows, integrate systems, and enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Data Architecture and Optimizations
    • Ensure data integrity and reliability by implementing robust validation and governance practices.
    • Oversee the integration of data from diverse sources, including cloud platforms, databases, and external APIs.
    • Evaluate and implement BI tools to optimize data processing and reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with operations, finance, and other departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Provide executive-level reports and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Process Improvements and Innovation
    • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to introduce innovative BI practices.

Job Requirements/Skills/Education:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering.
  • Advanced expertise in BI platforms such as Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps platform.
  • Proven experience with data architecture, SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple systems, including ERP platforms like NetSuite.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Timely delivery of BI solutions and projects.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and adoption of BI tools.
  • Improved data accuracy and governance metrics.
  • Contribution to measurable business outcomes through analytics.
